An in depth espresso class aimed at professional baristas or those who are curious to learn more about this fascinating brew method. Here we focus on the fundamental tools used make a great tasting espresso with a hands on approach. The class also covers workflow management, service, milk texturing and equipment care.

INTRODUCTION TO TO SPECIALITY COFFEE


This class is all about the journey from seed to cup. We taste and talk about different origins and process methods to give you a great insight to what speciality coffee is all about. 

The aim of this class is to get an understanding of flavours found in coffee and introduced you to our approach to the business by explaining sourcing, transparency and sustainability.

      • Seed to cup. Taking you through all stages of quality control
      • 250g coffee of your choice to bring home

HOME BREWING CLASS


A great introduction class aimed at the novice coffee drinker who whats to drink better coffee at home

The class is hands on and will teach you the most common brew methods and the technique to bet the best out of them


    • This class includes:
      • Cupping coffees from different origins and different process methods
      • Seed to cup. Taking you through all stages of quality control
      • Brewing with V60, Kalita, Aeropress, French press and automatic filter brewer
      • Understanding variables
      • Choosing coffees storage and grinding at home.
      • 250g coffee of your choice to bring home

BREWING MASTERCLASS


This class is aimed at the experienced barista or business who wants to advance their brewing skills. We start the class with at cupping where we talk about all stages from seed to cup and what affects the quality of the coffee. 


    • This class includes:
      • Cupping coffees from different origins and different process methods
      • Seed to cup. Taking you through all stages of quality control
      • Choosing green coffee and setting roast profiles and the effect on cup quality
      • Brewing with V60, Kalita Wave, Aeropress and Batch brew
      • Pouring techniques, agitation and flow rate
      • Understanding variables and extraction principles
      • Ratios 
      • Dialing in with TDS and extraction tools
